Icy cold stress-free fixing
Stress-free fixing/clamping of small and micro components is achieved with Freeze Clamping Technology ICE-VICE. This technique is particularly effective for mechanically processing workpieces and substrates with complex shapes.
When clamping with the ICE-VICE freeze system, the workpieces are frozen with a film of water on the clamping plate, ensuring that no stresses are introduced into the workpiece. This method allows even uneven parts to be clamped and fully processed in one operation.
