New Versatility Solution from Witte
A newly developed combination measuring fixture from WITTE, specifically designed for transmission and multisensor measuring machines, promises significantly increased flexibility, speed, and comfort in practical use.
The centerpiece of the innovation is the extremely easy-to-use spring system for receiving and fixing the components to be measured. Tool-free interchangeable centering cones adapt to various diameters—even hollow shapes, such as pipes. Optional versions also allow for combination with, for example, a rotatable and detachable ALUFIX hand clamping device. The adjustable spring force, ranging from 26 to 36 Newtons, securely holds even heavier workpieces in position.
The new combination measuring fixture has an adjustment range of 160 millimeters, allowing for the reception of objects with a component length of up to 145 millimeters. Adjusting to the workpiece length is extremely convenient via a slide that can be shifted and locked using locking pins, detent latch bars, and linear guides.
The combination measuring fixture, categorized within Witte's modular clamping system ALUFIX, features compatible system bores with the ALUFIX size AF16—making it easy to mount on the respective measuring table thanks to a specific connection hole pattern.
Devices and measurement setups realized with ALUFIX are reliably reproducible. The consistent implementation of the modular system allows for unrestricted, long-term multiple use of practically all standard elements integrated into the fixtures.
